Truth Nugget: The Goodness of God
The goodness of God is hard to comprehend, especially for we humans who erroneously believe we must work our way to acceptance, who are trying to protect and cover the fears and shame that surface from time to time, and/or who are trying to make a place to live in this world. It’s hard to imagine Father-God who loves us through His beloved Son Jesus….and that all our sins and flaws are generously covered by His goodness.
I experienced the depth of His goodness recently at a Christian conference when the revelation of it was revealed through the prophetic word to one person after another through the Holy Spirit speaking through a man of God. I knew some of the people who were attending, some of their flaws and my own, but a word came forth from the Holy Spirit Who knew who we were to become. There were encouraging words about our gifts, our design, and our destiny that only He could fully know. The Lord God looks past all our flaws and encourages us to walk in our destiny with Him.
This wonderful love and goodness was released through the pastor, Tony Costa, hosting this conference who clearly showed a humble and serving heart to see these people free; and also through the prophetic gifting of a gentle man, David Wagner, who revealed God’s words of love.
When I left, I was overwhelmed with the amazing love and goodness of the Lord…and it still lingers.
He knows us; He sees us; and still He chooses to release His goodness over us. His goodness is free and we will be surprised how He will orchestrate us to receive it. (Psalm 145-147)
